Naíonra Ultain Teoranta is an Irish language playschool which follows the High/Scope programme. It is based on the school grounds and has two rooms catering for up to 40 pre-school children. Opening hours are 9am until 12.30pm, Monday to Friday, 38 weeks of the year.
Here in the Naíonra we provide a high quality, welcoming preschool service to children and parents, offering the young child the opportunity and support to acquire the Irish language naturally, and in the case of those children whose home language is Irish, to facilitate the enrichment of that child’s first language, all through the medium of play. We aim to enhance the total development of the child by providing a varied and stimulating curriculum and supporting the role of the parent in the development and education of their child.
