Lunch should be provide a third of your child’s food requirements for the day.  The most effective way to plan a healthy lunch is to include one food from each of the food groups; one piece of fruit, milk/yogurt, bread and meat/poultry/cheese.

Crisps, chewing gum and fizzy drinks are not allowed in school.  A small treat may be included in the lunch box but it is recommended not to include large bars like Twix, Mars, Snickers etc.

We ask parents not to give their children nuts for lunch as there are pupils in the school who are allergic to them.
